Falls wouldn't be a problem if we bounced!
We have a population which is ageing. We cannot afford not to try and prevent falls and the harm from falls.
This free webinar features falls prevention expert, Pam Dean, and Active Ageing Australia CEO, Melanie Smith and includes discussions on:
- Why falls matter as we age
- Are falls inevitable in older people?
- Myth busting beliefs about falls
- If falls prevention is everyone's business does it end up being no-one's business?
- With more than 400 falls risk factors where do we start?
- How to discuss a fall with an older person
To continue our work we rely on the support of our members and the community.
Active Ageing Australia is a registered not for profit organisation, dedicated to supporting older Australians to stay active and independent.
Please note that while we are a registered not-for-profit organisation we do not hold deductible gift recipient status, which means that this can't be claimed as a tax deduction.
