Statewide Conversations with Older South Australians

Share your views about living well as you age.

As a proud Office for the Ageing (OFTA) partner, Active Ageing Australia would like to promote this important event to you, our members and supporters.

OFTA and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI) will be running two free informal events to hear directly from people over 50 about what it takes to age well in South Australia and what helps to live a good life in the community. This event gives you a unique opportunity to share your lived experience of ageing and what is important to you in order to live well into the future. Together, we want to make South Australia a great place to spend a lifetime.

The sessions will be interactive and informal – we want to hear your thoughts and views about what ageing well into the future means to you, and what are the things that are important for making South Australia a great place to live for people of all ages. You’ll work in small groups and have the chance to work alone. Older people will assist as facilitators at the sessions.

Please note, anyone attending can bring along a family member or friend for support. Morning or afternoon tea will be provided.
